Fifth Annual Twilight Snowshoe - March 21, The Valley Club, Hailey, Idaho

On the second day of Spring over 150 people raised $70,000 for breast cancer research at Expedition Inspiration’s Fifth Annual Twilight Snowshoe. A cheerful Hawaiian themed Tiki champagne bubble bar welcomed the snowshoe group on the Valley Club snowshoe course.

A fabulous silent auction and balloon surprises was followed by dinner and a moving video tribute to breast cancer survivors. (Watch on EI website). Auctioneer Larry Flynn worked his magic on the crowd and raised money for the Young Investigator Award and funds for the Annual Laura Evans Memorial Breast Cancer Symposium, now approaching it’s fifteenth year.

“The courageous efforts of my friend Laura Evans and the organization she founded are very dear to my heart.” reflected auctioneer Larry Flynn as he wove through the audience, acknowledging friends and guests for their involvement. Participants, eager to contribute to a cause that affects 1 in 8 women, jumped at the chance to bid and raise funds for a critical cause.

Another highlight of the evening was the live performance of Platinum Award winning songwriter Steve Eaton, who performed hits he has written for such musical greats as The Carpenters, The 5th Dimension, Lee Greenwood and Art Garfunkel. Visit his website: www.steveeaton.net

Monies raised during the Expedition Inspiration Fund for Breast Cancer Research Twilight Snowshoe Celebration will go directly towards the annual symposium. This event was made possible through the participation of many local donors and volunteers, with a very heartfelt thank you to all who participated in its success.
