Breast cancer affects one in every eight American women. Every eleven minutes breast cancer claims the life of a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend. Expedition Inspiration’s New Hampshire Take-A-Hike supports promising research at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center/Norris Cotton Cancer Center, under the leadership of Peter A. Kaufman, MD, Associate Professor of Medicine (Hematology/Oncology). The Fifth Annual New Hampshire Take-A-Hike raised over $20,000 for Dr. Kaufman’s research and the Expedition Inspiration Fund.
Our First Annual New Hampshire Take-A-Hike was dedicated in loving memory of Joyce Hals. Joyce was Chair of our Boston Take-A-Hike for two years. Her passion for living was infectious. She created a sense of unity among those battling breast cancer. Thank you to Joyce's family and friends who joined Expedition Inspiration's New Hampshire Take-A-Hike to honor this very special woman.
