Take-A-Hikes: Sawtooth Adventure

9:30 a.m. Hikers (staggered) starts
1:00 p.m. Hosted lunch at the beach
This beautiful hike is a 4.5-mile round trip and will take approximately 3 hours. It is “family” friendly, though no strollers or dogs please.
“Pale aqua and crystal Fishhook Creek meanders through the meadow that is the destination of this hike. The pointed towers of Mount Heyburn jut above the left side of the meadow. To the right of Mount Heyburn, the double black hump of Horstmann Peak crouches like a black cat. North of the meadow, a ridge of square teeth leads toward the shoulder of Thompson Peak. Between these mountains at the head of the canyon, the umbrella-tent of Mount Ebert is pitched.”
