Boise Public Forum: June 11

The Third Annual “Have You Heard…” Boise Public Forum brought together medical specialists, patients, survivors, families, friends, and supporters to hear the latest news from the recent American Society Clinical Oncologists (ASCO) Meeting. This free-to-the-public Forum was presented by Expedition Inspiration and generously underwritten by St. Luke's Mountain States Tumor Institute and St. Luke's Breast Care Services. It was held on Wednesday, June 11 at St. Luke's Anderson Center in Boise.

Featured speakers were Dr. Angela DeMichele, Assistant Professor of Medicine and Epidemiology, Abramson Cancer Center at the University of Pennsylvania and Dr. Michael Press, Harold E. Lee Chair, Professor of Pathology, Keck School of Medicine, Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Southern California. The Forum presented new advances in Hormonal Therapy, Chemotherapy, and HER2 as a Target for Therapy, as well as the latest advances in breast cancer treatment and genetics.
 
A panel of experts, including specialists from St. Luke’s Mountain States Tumor Institute offered a Question and Answer Session and Panel Discussion.
