AUGUST 22 & 23

Itinerary

Summit and Two Day Support Teams:
August 22: Meet early afternoon at Expedition Inspiration office, 640 North Main, Ketchum, ID.  Exact time to be advised.  Team will carpool from Ketchum over Trail Creek Summit to Joe    T. Fallini Campground on Mackay Reservoir.  Here we will    meet our hosts from Sawtooth Mountain Guides, enjoy a hearty dinner with our Team and discuss plans for our climb the next day. Dinner

August 23:
Summit Team will rise early-around 5 AM, have breakfast and pack up camp.  Team will drive to the Borah Peak Trailhead.  We will enjoy a full day (approximately 10-12 hours) climbing this beautiful mountain.  Be ready for Chicken Out Ridge, an exciting traverse of the most exposed section of the climb!  Upon summitting, we will celebrate with our special Expedition Inspiration Tribute Flags.  The team will then descend and return to Ketchum.  After a hot shower, we will enjoy a Celebration Dinner!   Exact time and location to be advised. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Support Team will rise later in the morning, have breakfast and pack up camp.  Team will drive to the Borah Peak Trailhead.  We will enjoy a full day hiking this beautiful mountain. The Team will be able to follow the Summit Team’s progress with walky talkys as they climb towards the 12,668 summit of Borah Peak.  The team will then descend and return to Ketchum.  After a hot shower, we will enjoy a Celebration Dinner!  Exact time and location to be advised. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

One Day Support Team:
August 23

We will meet our teammates from the overnight crew and guides from Sawtooth Mountain Guides.  Support Team will enjoy a full day hiking this beautiful mountain.  The Team will be able to follow the Summit Team’s progress with walky talkys as they climb towards the 12,668 summit of Borah Peak. The team will then descend and return to Ketchum.  After a hot shower, we will enjoy a Celebration Dinner!   Exact time and location to be advised. Lunch, Dinner
