Continental Room, Sun Valley Inn

The Keeping Abreast Open Forum is the public arm of this private, four-day conference. The Keeping Abreast Open Forum is a FREE event for the community to hear firsthand updates and interact with the Symposium attendees. Marc Lippman from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine will moderate the evening. For those who can’t attend in person, the Open Forum will be live-streamed on Expedition Inspiration’s YouTube channel (BreastCancerEI, “2018 Keeping Abreast Open Forum”) giving the masses access to this critical information.

NEW this year we are preceding the Keeping Abreast Open Forum with an hour of yoga! This free class will start at 5:30 p.m. in the Columbine Room at the Sun Valley Inn. We are marrying the benefits of exercise and stress release with an all-levels flow class taught by Lauri Bunting has been teaching yoga for over 25 years in the valley. She will be joined by Dr. Firdaus Dhabhar who investigates the effects of stress on immune function and health. He will be providing a brief introduction on why stress is both good and bad for us.
