Boston Fundraiser More than seventy friends of Expedition Inspiration's founder, Laura Evans, gathered in Boston in late April for an evening of camaraderie that included a live auction to benefit breast cancer research. Plans for a 20-year reunion of many New England friends quickly blossomed into an event that would serve a greater purpose. The festivities began with a special prayer in memory of the spouses who had been a vital and lively part of this group before their lives were claimed by cancer, including Laura Evans and Susan McGuire. Auction items were numerous, the bidding spirited, and when the final item was sold, more than $30,000 had been raised for E.I.
