Expedition Inspiration Appoints Development Director
The Expedition Inspiration Fund for Breast Cancer Research has announced the appointment of Hailey, Idaho
resident Linda Packer as Development Director.
Packer, who spent over 30 years in the banking industry, recently retired as Vice President and Manager, Bank of America Banking Center, Ketchum.
As Development Director some of Packer's responsibilities will include
creating, planning and implementing fund-raising strategies; researching and pursuing new sponsors and underwriters for all events; speaking with civic and
service organizations.
"I followed the mission of this organization almost from its inception, because I admired Laura Evans, its founder, and her determination to 'do something' rather than just 'talk' about breast cancer,"
said Packer. "Also, this is my personal
contribution to my sister, aunt and grandmothers whose lives were changed and shortened because of this disease."

New Title for
Breast Cancer Symposium
In honor of EI's co-founder, Laura Evans, the Board of Directors, at their October board meeting, voted to change the title of our Medical Symposium. It will now be called, "Expedition Inspiration's Annual Laura Evans Memorial Breast Cancer Symposium." The Board felt this was truly a fitting manner in which to honor Laura. The Symposium is scheduled to be held February 19th through 23rd, 2003 in Sun Valley. Please check out our website for details about the Public Forum, to be held Thursday, February 20th.
